Grass Ain’t Greener

I’ve spent many nights up late in my earlier years…
Not out partying, or getting wasted like the average Joe.
No…
I was up working on my business.
Trying to earn a living to support my growing family.
I was already married and had two children… with a third on the way.
This was a difficult period of my life to say the least…
But by the grace of God we always had enough to get by.
Fast forward 20 years later…
I’m now living in my dream home out in rural Florida.
Now why am I sharing this with you?
Well, it’s not to brag, that’s for sure.
I tell you this because I want you to realize that this path was not easy…
Nor was it guaranteed.
Sometimes people look at my lifestyle now, wishing they were where I’m at.
They think the grass is greener
on the other side…
And so they don’t realize the amount of sacrifice it took to get here.
There were many days during those early years… I wished I could have just punched a clock like everybody else.
That 9 to 5 lifestyle looked pretty great.
But…
I kept going no matter how difficult it was…
And just did what I needed to do.
I had mouths to feed, and it was my responsibility to provide for my wife and children.
When you want something bad enough, you will do whatever it takes…
No Excuses.
Things never come easy in life…
You have to be willing to work hard to achieve greatness.
This is exactly what the men in my
King Initiation program are learning.
They’re stepping outside of their comfort zone, and embracing challenges…
They’re letting go of the things that no longer serve them.
And in doing so…
They grow stronger, not simply for their own sake, but to empower others to do the same.
This is what it means to truly be a KING.
