Sounds like freedom, right?
You'd think that life would be perfect, right? No problems, no stress, no worries about not having your needs met.
But is this really so?
How many celebrity men do we see on the screen who have all of these things yet they suffer.
They struggle with drugs and alcohol. They battle against anger, sadness and feelings of meaningless. They might have repetitive negative thoughts that keep them trapped in a cycle of psychosis.
I say that freedom is not the HAVING or more stuff, even the most basic stuff, like the three S's I spoke of above.
Don't get me wrong... having those things are great. I'm not against any of these things. The more the merrier.
What I AM saying is... that real freedom comes from letting go of the vices, addictions, attachments, emotions and mental masturbation that blurs our vision and keeps us stuck.
When we're hooked on feel good chemicals, drugs and emotional roller coasters we can't even enjoy the real, lasting joys of life once the high wears off.
