The fatherhood and family crushing curse of feminism gained steam in the 1960's by what some call "The Sexual Revolution."

To be a man is to be generative.
The word "generative" is associated with two other worlds that indicate what it means.
A generative man is both GENEROUS and GENERATION making.
Meaning he gives of himself for the future generations.
He is fruitful.
He is a FATHER.
The reason feminists shouted "smash the patriarchy" for 3 generations is because they knew that PATRIARCHY meant fatherhood.
In fact the word patriarchy translates to "Father's Rule".
In order for feminism to take root, they had to "smash the father's rule".
When men marry, lead their wives and protect their daughters from sin, they are GENERATIVE. They are adding to the re-build of a strong, stable families, virtuous children and patriarchy.
But... men blow their load in a plastic bag with some basic bitches from the bar contribute to the feminist take-down of Western culture.
