Be a BLANK CANVAS

When my daughter was a kid she liked to paint pictures on blank canvases.

So my wife and I would always buy her new blank canvases to paint on for her birthday, Christmas, holidays.

When she'd run out of canvases we wouldn't go out immediately to buy her new ones.
She'd have to wait until another holiday.

In the meantime she'd cover the old paintings with white paint and paint a new picture right on top of the old one.
Was this practical?
  • Yes.
Was it ideal?
  • No.
Painting new images over an old canvas is tough.
Besides, the new images can be warped, hindered or distorted by the old painting underneath.

It's better to have a blank canvas.
The same goes for you and I when we're trying to create a new image for our lives.
When we have new hopes, dreams, goals and visions for the future we need to "wipe clean" the old canvas, with the old images, old ego and old... stuff.

If we carry the old stuff into new life, the new creation, it will be ugly.

Not ideal.

This is why Initiation is so important.

Initiation is a process for renewal, regeneration and re-ignition of life.

The process of initiation has several steps, but the first step is a very important one.

The first step in initiation is all about creating a new slate.
How do you create a new slate?

Well, our ancestors knew that for proper masculine initiation to occur the boy needed to be "cleaned" from ALL of his sensual attachments.
  • Food.
  • Sleep.
  • Comfort.
Think about your very own attachments.

If you were to follow an initiation process what attachments would you need be "cleansed" from?

What addictions would need to be purged?
  • Coffee?
  • Video Games?
  • Porn?
  • Tobacco?
What VICES would you turn into VIRTUES?
You can REPLY to this briefing and I'll see your answers.

Its for men who are ready "clean the slate", drive away demons and addictions... and finally become the strongest version of themselves.
