Last Monday I recorded a two hour podcast with The Hodge Twins.

If you've been following me for some time you'll remember when both myself and the twins were rising rapidly together on YouTube.

They made comedy videos about bodybuilding.

I made inspirational videos about strongman training. 
 
The twins look like, well, twins.  

Even though I am NOT one of their brothers, I look a lot like them too.

So our fans would mistake us for each other.  

They would ask me "are you one of the Hodge twins?" 

And they would ask the twins, "are you related to Elliott Hulse?" 
Anyway, we had a great conversation on a variety of topics. The podcast was amazing. It will probably be out later this month. I'll be sure to let you know when.

But we forgot to take a picture together. 

All I have is this video screen capture my producer sent me. 

One of the major topics we touched on was "economic warfare".

We all agreed that monetary manipulation and corporate globalization is bad for the people. 
When goods and spending is dependent on complex supply lines rather than local production and consumption... our safety and security are at risk.

Remember what happened with covid? 

All the shipping containers carrying goods from China were held up at the ports. 

The products were not allowed into the country.

So the price of everything SKYROCKETED. 

Even to this day "supply line" disruptions (and inflation) has doubled and even tripled the cost of things we need to survive. 

So what should we do? 

Buy American made, homegrown consumer goods and products. 

When you buy American...
  • You support local business,
  • You support American jobs, and
  • ​You are better able to support your loved ones.
When the products you rely on are American made and shipped "factory direct" you put yourself and your family at less risk for loss.

That's why I am an avid Switch Away shopper and brand ambassador. 

I believe in the mission, vision and practical value of doing business where you live. 

And I'm not alone.
