My Home Gym WORKOUT Plan

Yesterday was a very important day for The Hulse Squad, my family. 

It was our first day "back to school", home school. 

This is our second official year doing home school, third if you count the scamdemic lock downs. 

On Sunday night Colleen led a family meeting where we spoke about our intentions and daily schedules for the next 10 months or so.

Although Colleen is Headmaster Of The Hulse Squad Home School, I also contribute to teaching and training. 

Specifically Bible Study and Physical Education.

For Bible Study we'll continue studying courses and watching Bishop Barron's Word On Fire Institute stuff. 

For training.... 

We'll that's the main topic of this briefing, so lets dive in, shall we?

Father & Son Training

Since Benjamin's 12th birthday, last month, I have been involving him more in my daily routines. 

For example he and I walk and train the dogs every morning at 8am.
This week we started strength training.

Since I am getting ready to compete in a strongman show this fall, Benjamin will be doing strongman workouts with me. 

We're doing a 2 day split routine for the next 4 weeks or so. 

It consists of one "odd objects" day, where we focus on strongman conditioning and functional training.

And on day 2 we focus on "bodybuilding" where we'll be doing a modified High Intensity Training routine for building muscle and tendon strength. 
You can also design your own HIT workouts
by following the templates in this course. 
My daughters will train with Colleen at Orange Theory 1-2x per weeks and they'll be following a basic strength training program like my Advanced 5x5 system...

I'll be back tomorrow (and all week) with more specifics about my training plans, individual workouts, exercises and diet.
